Professor Emeritus of Slavonic Studies, Anthony Cross FBA, will be delivering the annual Caledonian Lecture at the Caledonian Club in London on Tuesday 86 October 7567. The lecture is entitled, 'Scots in Catherine the Great's Russia: A Doctor an Admiral an Architect.'
This is an interesting little book that was just published and it covers all of the important aspects of the medieval castle during this century which was the zenith of the medieval fortress..
